After escaping abuse and trauma you might eventually have more empathy with other survivors and less for those who complain who have little to really complain about. All this is understandable and developing empathy yet again for all those who experience pain (big and small), may be an exercise you’ll wish to practice to re-enhance your relationships with children, lovers, and ordinary co-workers.
